Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1 (184 gram) tin of tuna, packed in water
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream no fat type or no fat mayonaisse)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Toast the bread slices, set aside. In a small bowl mix together the tuna, tomato, sour cream, basil and cayenne if using. Spread 1/4 of the mix on each of the 4 toasted slices.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon parmesan over each slice.

  • Step 3: Plce slices on foil lined cooking sheet; set on the middle oven shelf under the broiler for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Step 4: Slice and serve warm.
