Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and drizzle enough oil to just coat.
Step 3: In large bowl, toss julienne slices of turnip with vegetable oil, thyme and garlic powder.
Step 4: Pour over baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Bake for 30 minutes, or until cooked through, turning every 10 minutes.
