Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 ounces bell pepper, chopped (1/2 pepper)
  • 4 cups potatoes, mashed (hot)
  • 2 cans (14 ounce) cream-style corn
  • 1 can (14 ounce) mixed vegetables (drained)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown the ground beef with celery, onion and bell pepper. Drain off grease.

  • Step 2: Place meat in a large bowl. Add cans of veggies, worcestshire sauce and spices to the meat and stir well.

  • Step 3: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 pan.

  • Step 4: Mash the potatoes with milk and butter, like normal mashed potatoes.

  • Step 5: Spread the mashed potatoes over the top.

  • Step 6: Bake at 375 for 30 minutes and then top with the cheddar cheese. Continue to bake another 15 minutes to melt the cheese.

  • Step 7: Serve! Enjoy!
