Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 skin-on chicken breasts (or 6 skin on thighs)
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, well drained (or can use 2 cups sliced and sauteed)
  • 1 small onionj, finely chopped
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, or to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set oven rack to lowest position. Grease an 11 x 7 or a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

  • Step 2: Place the chicken pieces skin-side up into the baking dish.

  • Step 3: In a bowl combine all remaining ingredients until combined; pour evenly over the chicken.

  • Step 4: Bake uncovered for about 50 minutes or until the chicken is cooked though (cooking time will vary depending on what chicken part you are using). Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top and allow to melt.

  • Step 5: Serve with cooked rice or noodles.
