  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (can use more)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking pan.

  • Step 2: In a bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed beat butter with next 4 ingredients until smooth and fluffy (about 3 minutes).

  • Step 3: In a bowl or cup combine the flour with sada and salt; add to the creamed mixture beating until well combined. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts.

  • Step 4: Drop by teaspoon or tablespoon onto baking sheet. Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until browned around the edges).
