The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds chicken pieces (with skin has more flavor)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 to 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup (or cream chicken soup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Dip chicken pieces in 1/2 cup buttermilk.

  • Step 2: Roll in flour, salt, pepper.

  • Step 3: Bake uncovered 375 for 30 minutes.

  • Step 4: Turn - bake additional 15 minutes.

  • Step 5: Blend either 1 or 2 cups buttermilk and creamed soup of your choice. Pour over chicken Bake 15 minutes.
