Step 1: Wash Brussels sprouts and drain well; cut off stem ends, then slice in half.
Step 2: Heat butter in a large shallow nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add shallots and Canadian bacon and cook until starting to brown, about 5 minutes.
Step 3: Add Brussels sprouts to pan; stir, cover and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until Brussels sprouts are done, about 15 minutes.
Step 4: Add lemon juice, salt and pepper; stir and continue cooking 5 minutes.
Step 5: Serve immediately.
