  • 1 pound pecan nuts (halves)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon water, cold
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt (granulated salt)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 225 degree F.

  • Step 2: Wish together the egg white and water.

  • Step 3: Mix together sugar, cinnamon and salt.

  • Step 4: Mix the pecans into the egg wash.

  • Step 5: Now add the pecans to the sugar and toss to coat.

  • Step 6: Spread cookies on foil lined cookie sheets and bake at 225 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally

  • Step 7: After 45 minutes, increase the temperature to 275 degrees and bake for an additional 15 minutes
