Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (shaped into 3-4 burgers seasoned the way you want)
  • 2/3 cup water (or milk)
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Hot cooked noodles

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet brown the both sides of the burgers (3 minutes per side). Remove from heat and drain fat.

  • Step 2: Stir in water or milk, cream of celery soup, onion soup mix and pepper. Heat until boiling, stirring often. Reduce heat. Add burgers back to the skillet. Simmer 20 minutes.

  • Step 3: Combine sour cream and flour until blended. Stir in to meat mixture, simmer another 10 minutes.

  • Step 4: Serve with noodles or cooked rice.
