Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Sweet Roll Layer:
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons Instant espresso or coffee powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg (my preference, regular store bought nutmeg is fine)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • Cheesecake Layer:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup Kahlua
  • 2 packages cream Cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup chopped chocolate covered coffee beans

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees,Coat 9 x 13 pan with spray.

  • Step 2: Whisk together flour, 3/4 Cup sugar, espresso powder, baking powder, cocoa, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, vanilla extract and salt for the Sweet Roll Layer and set aside.

  • Step 3: Combine buttermilk and butter; stir into the flour mixture until combined, Spread mixture into prepared pan.

  • Step 4: Beat Cream Cheese and 1/2 Cup Sugar for the cheesecake layer in a bowl with a mixer on medium speed until combined.

  • Step 5: Add Eggs and Kahlua, beating 5 minutes; pour over Sweet Roll layer.

  • Step 6: Bake cheesecake until set, about 25 minutes, remove from oven and let cool slightly. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

  • Step 7: Sprinkle Chocolate Covered Beans over Cheesecake. Cool to room temp then refrigerate dessert until cool.

  • Step 8: Cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.
