  • 2 large baking potatoes
  • Melted butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 bacon sllices
  • 2 green onions, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 °F.

  • Step 2: For easier slicing, cut thin slice from ends of each potato; discard. Cut potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. Dry slices and place in single layer on lightly greased shallow baking sheet. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Bake 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Combine cheddar cheese, bacon and onions. Spoon onto potato slices. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
