Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (13 ounce) cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • Filling:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened (you can use the low fat if you want)
  • 1 cup pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, fine chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • Sugar Glaze:
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Filling ... Mix the cream cheese, pumpkin, pumpkin pie seasoning mix, and sugar in a small bowl until well combined.

  • Step 2: Crescents ... Lay the crescent rolls out on a flat surface or you cutting board with a little flour so they don't stick. I use parchment paper and a little flour so I don't dirty my counter. Separate them according to the guidelines. Add a spoon of the pumpkin mix to the crescent and spread out evenly. Add a few nuts, and loosely roll up.

  • Step 3: Sugar Glaze ... Mix the sugar and pumpkin spice seasoning mix in a small flat bowl. Then, roll the crescents in the sugar glaze, and place on a baking or sheet pan lined with parchment paper, foil, or you could use a silpat. You don't want the sugar glaze getting on your pan.

  • Step 4: Bake ... Preheat the oven to 375 degrees, and bake on the middle shelf for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

  • Step 5: Serve ... Enjoy for a Thanksgiving for 2, a potluck dinner, entertaining; or, just a great Fall snack to have around the house. ENJOY!
