Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons oil ( vegetable oil)
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced (white and green parts)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon gingerroot, minced
  • 4 whole mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • 1/2 sweet red pepper, diced
  • 5 cups cooked rice (cold rice, i use brown rice, but white is ok)
  • 2 cups cooked beef (cubed steak or roast)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, light
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a wok or large frypan, heat oil over high heat; stir fry tomato, white parts of green onion, garlic and ginger for 1 minute. Add mushrooms, carrot, celery and red pepper; stir fry until veggies are tender crisp, about 4 minutes

  • Step 2: Stir in rice, beef, peas, soy souce and oyster sauce, Salt and pepper to taste; stir fry for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in green parts of green onions and sesame oil.
