  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa (Nestle Toll House baking cocoa)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon in a small heavy duty pot.

  • Step 2: Stir in milk with pot over medium heat and keep stirring until mixture is hot. DO NOT boil.

  • Step 3: Remove pot from the heat and stir in vanilla extract. Begin beating with a wire whisk until frothy. Pour into cups and serve immediately.
