Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 halibut fish fillets (6 ounce)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice, divided
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Rinse and dry the fish fillets, place in an oven proof dish. Just before placing in the oven sprinkle the fish with 2 tablespoons lime juice, season with salt and pepper, cover the dish with foil

  • Step 2: Have your oven preheated to 450F. Place fish in the center of the oven bake for about 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily

  • Step 3: While the fish is baking heat the 1/2 tablespoon of oil in a small skillet, add garlic and let it just start to brown - about 3 minutes, add butter and let it melt, add 1 tablespoon lime juice and the 1/2 cup of cilantro.

  • Step 4: Heat it until it is just warm. Spoon over the cooked fish and serve.
