Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 ounces bacon (chopped, cooked until lightly browned, 3 slices)
  • 150 grams Brussels sprouts (shaved)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (aged)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (toasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add the shaved brussels sprouts to the lightly browned bacon in a large skillet, over medium heat, mix well, cover and cook, stirring often for about 5 minutes or until the sprouts are soft.

  • Step 2: Add balsamic vinegar, increase heat to high, stir until the vinegar has evaporated. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle on the parmesan and almonds - enjoy!
