  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup splenda (or additional sugar)
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 can (15 ounce) pumpkin
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (white)
  • 1 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 and butter 13x9 pan. Using mixer, combine eggs, sugar, oil, applesauce and pumpkin until well blended.

  • Step 2: In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Slowly add combined ingredients to mixing bowl using low speed until just combined. Spread into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges just start pulling away from sides. Cool before frosting.
