Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup croutons (plain for flavored)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs (large or extra large)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cooked chopped hame

How to Make

  • Step 1: Grease a 8x8 inch glass baking dish or small casserole dish.

  • Step 2: In a bowl toss the croutons with melted butter until coated. Place into baking dish. Sprinkle cheese on top of croutons.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture over croutons and cheese. Sprinkle on cubed ham. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.

  • Step 4: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Let casserole stand at room temperature for 15 minutes while oven heats.

  • Step 5: Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, until eggs are set. Let sit for 5-7 minutes before servings
