  • 1 (18 ounce) package Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix.
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats, raw
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (or margarine melted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Insert paper liners into muffin pan cups or grease your muffin pan

  • Step 2: Combine cake mix, oatmeal, and salt together. (Break up dry cake mix lumps)

  • Step 3: Beat together the eggs, milk, and butter with a fork until blended well but not foamy.

  • Step 4: Add wet ingredients to dry and stir with fork just until moistened.

  • Step 5: Spoon into muffin cups filling 2/3 full. Try to make them all with the same amount.

  • Step 6: Bake at 400 degrees for 13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with butter or honey or honey-butter, your favorite jam or jelly!
