Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • APPLE SALSA
  • 2 medium apples (tart apples, finely chopped)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 2 medium kiwi fruit (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1 orange, small (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple jelly (or 2 tablespoons raspberry jam, melted, I use the microwave to melt the jelly/jam)
  • CINNAMON CHIPS
  • 8 tortillas (flour tortillas 7 or 8 inches)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, combine apples, strawberries, and kiwi.

  • Step 2: Grate orange peel to measure 1 1/2 tsp.

  • Step 3: Squeeze juice from orange.

  • Step 4: Add peel and juice to apple mixture.

  • Step 5: Stir in brown sugar, and melted jelly/jam.

  • Step 6: Makes 4 cups salsa

  • Step 7: Cinnamon Chips: Brush tortillas lightly with water.

  • Step 8: Combine sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over tortillas.

  • Step 9: Cut each tortillas into 8 wedges. Place in a single layer on ungreased baking sheets.

  • Step 10: Bake at 400, for 6-8 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool.

  • Step 11: Dip into Apple Salsa, and enjoy.
