Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 large eggs (hard boiled, peeled and rinsed)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish (optional)
  • 1/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (prepared mustard, or adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 to 1/4 cup mayonnaise (may not need all the mayo)
  • 4 bacon slices (cooked crisp and crumbled)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
  • Paprika, optional

How to Make

  • Step 1: Split eggs lengthwise

  • Step 2: Remove yolks and place into medium bowl.

  • Step 3: Mash yolks and add mustard,mayonnaise,sugar,salt,and pepper.( may not need all of mayo),mixing well.

  • Step 4: Add bacon,cheese,and relish if using.Mix well, if needed add a bit more mayo.

  • Step 5: Divide egg yolk mixture between egg whites.

  • Step 6: Arrange on egg platter or a nice plate,sprinkle with paprika and chill for 2 hours or longer.
