Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 6 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 to 2 jalapeno, chopped
  • 3 cups Great Northern beans (drained)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cups canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/4 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt (Lawry's)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Hot sauce, add to your liking or you can leave it out

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet cook the ground beef with garlic and jalapeno until the beef is well browned. Drain fat.

  • Step 2: Add in all the rest of the ingredients, stir until mixed well.

  • Step 3: Transfer to a crock pot, cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or you can transfer to a well greased casserole dish and bake covered at 350 degrees for 2 hours. (personally I like the slow cooker method better).
