Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion, (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons 2% milk
  • 6 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (Lawry's seasoning salt)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup salsa (divided)
  • 8 large jalapeno peppers (sliced into rings, divided)
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (divided)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together ground beef, onions, milk, garlic, salt and pepper. Form into 8 equal size patties.

  • Step 2: On 4 patties top each with 1/4 cup salsa, 1/4 cup shredded Jack cheese and as much jalapeno as you want. Then top with remaining patties and press edges together very well to seal the patties.

  • Step 3: Grill over medium heat for 12 minutes, turning once after 7 minutes.

  • Step 4: Serve on grilled or toasted buns with favorite toppings.
