Step 1: In a shallow bowl combine bread crumbs, flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Step 2: Dip chops into the milk if using then coat the pork chops in the flour/bread crumb mixture.
Step 3: Brown in oil over medium heat; drain oil, and set the chops in a greased shallow casserole dish.
Step 4: Saute the onion in oil until golden brown (about 10-12 minutes). Sprinkle over the chops.
Step 5: In a medium bowl mix the cornstarch with water. Add in the tomatoes, with the remaining three ingredients; mix to combine. Season sauce with salt and pepper. Pour sauce over the pork chops and onions in the baking dish.
Step 6: Cover with foil and bake in a preated 325°F oven for about 45 minutes or until chops are tender.
