Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups leftover cooked ham, diced
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups of milk ( may not need all of the milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen green peas

How to Make

  • Step 1: In medium sized skillet over medium heat, add oil and ham then cook ham until lightly browned.

  • Step 2: Add flour and stir until it looks slightly browned.

  • Step 3: Then add milk a little at a time, stir until gravy is as thick as you like it.

  • Step 4: After making the gravy, season with as much salt and pepper as you like.

  • Step 5: Add peas then and let the gravy simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes or until peas are heated through and serve over your choice of starch.
