Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 cup dry long-grain white rice
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (firm- packed, chopped)
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a 2-quart saucepan heat butter. Add in garlic; cook 2 minutes or until soft. Add in broth and Italain seasoning. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  • Step 2: Stir the rice, spinach, salt and pepper in the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender. Stir in the cheese. Serve with additional cheese.
