Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable or olive oil)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup diced apples (unpeeled, diced or thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup raisins (or dried cranberries)
  • 1/4 cup diced sweet onion
  • 2 cups fresh torn spinach
  • 2 cups torn romaine

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine vinegar, oil, salt & sugar; whisk to mix well. Add apple, onion and raisins, toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Just before serving, add dressing to spinach and romaine, toss.
