Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 medium onions (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cool water
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 16 ounces cooked noodles

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown ground beef in skillet.

  • Step 2: Place browned beef in crock pot.

  • Step 3: Add onion to skillet and saute until it is tender (about 5 minutes).

  • Step 4: In a bowl mix Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and vinegar, mustard and salt.

  • Step 5: Add this mixture to meat with one cup of HOT water.

  • Step 6: Stir and cover. Cook for 4 hours low.

  • Step 7: Stir in brown sugar and cook for 1 hour on low.

  • Step 8: Blend flour with remaining 1/2 cup of cool water and add to meat mixture.

  • Step 9: Stir until thickened, cook for an additional 30 minutes on low.

  • Step 10: Serve on bed of cooked noodles. Enjoy!
