Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated ( or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or smashed, ( or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1/2 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste (sambal oelek) (use as little or as much as you like)
  • 1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 32 butter lettuce leaves

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat canola oil in large frying pan on medium; add the next 4 ingredients; cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened.

  • Step 2: Add turkey and mushrooms, scrable fry for about 5 minutes until turkey is no longer pink.

  • Step 3: Add hoisin sauce and the chili paste, stir, cook about 4 minutes stirring occasionally until heated thorugh.

  • Step 4: Add green onion and stir. Spoon about 1 tablespoon turkey mixture on each lettuce leaf. Roll to enclose filling.
