  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

  • Step 2: Add green beans and simmer until just tender, about 3 minutes.

  • Step 4: Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over high heat.

  • Step 5: Add the cumin and sauté until fragrant, about 15 seconds.

  • Step 6: Add beans, salt, pepper, lemon zest and lemon juice; sauté until beans are crisp tender and lightly browned, about 4 minutes.
