Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds potatoes (cut in half, baby potatoes)
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 pound bacon (partially cooked, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Montréal steak spice
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.

  • Step 2: Pour onto a double thickness of thick foil; fold the top and sides to seal well.

  • Step 3: Light the one side of the grill and bring to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 4: Place the potato pack on the side that is not lit and cook covered for 15 minutes; turn potato packet over wearing oven mitts and let cook for another 15 minutes or until cooked through. (This will depend on how thick you cut your potatoes)

  • Step 5: Remove from grill and allow cooling a few minutes; carefully opening the packet and serve.
