Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces whole crimini mushrooms
  • 1 red pepper, cut into 1 inch squares
  • 1 yellow onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (Frank’s Red Hot sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cayenne pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: N a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, hot sauce and garlic pepper; set aside

  • Step 2: Skewer the mushrooms, red pepper pieces and onion pieces onto metal skewers.

  • Step 3: Brush the skewers with the oil and hot sauce mixture.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle with cayenne pepper.

  • Step 5: Bring BBQ to medium-high heat and place skewers on grill.

  • Step 6: Cook covered, turning occasionally until mushrooms are just cooked.

  • Step 7: Serve.
