  • 1 1/2 cups oats (quick oats)
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup ground golden flaxseed
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar (white or brown sugar, or to sweetness desired)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter (or margarine, melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine all ingredients; mix well.

  • Step 2: Spread evenly in a greased 8x8 or 9x9 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and top is crusty. Immediately spoon into bowls, add milk.
