Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh minced parsley
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 1/4 teaspoons granulated garlic powder)
  • 3 pounds chicken pieces (I like a mix of legs and thighs with the skin on)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375F. In a shallow large bowl combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: In a small saucepan, heat butter and minced garlic or garlic powder over very low heat until butter melts.

  • Step 3: Brush chicken pieces with half of the garlic butter, then roll in bread crumb mixture to coat (don't throw away any leftover coating you will mix it with remaining melted garlic butter).

  • Step 4: Place chicken skin side up on a greased large foil-lined baking sheet.

  • Step 5: Mix together any remaining crumb mixture and remaining half melted butter/garlic mixture and sprinkle over chicken.

  • Step 6: Bake for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked completely.
