Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoon butter (or margarine)
  • 2 medium yellow onions, (chopped)
  • 1 1/4 pounds potatoes (3 medium potatoes, cooked, sliced)
  • 1 pound cooked beef (cubed, or whatever left overs you have - beef, pork, lamb or chicken)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons barbecue sauce (your favorite, optional)
  • 4 large eggs (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt the butter in a pan, add all the ingredients, except eggs, and stir fry for about 8 minutes over medium heat, then continue cooking for about another 5 minutes and serve or after about 8 minutes.

  • Step 2: If you wish to add an egg go on to step 2.

  • Step 3: If using eggs, crack the 4 eggs carefully over the hash, be careful they don't break, cover and cook until the eggs are done to your liking (about 5 minutes).
