The ingredients are:

  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped (or just use a small onion)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice (bottled)

We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat; add onion, and saute 4 minutes or until tender. Add garlic; cook and saute 1 minute. Stir in ketchup and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer UNCOVERED for 25-30 minutes. Cool. At this time I would chill for 1 day before you use it.

  • Step 2: Store leftover sauce in refrigerator up to 1 week.
