Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 to 2 medium apples (such as Fuji, peeled and sliced)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Powdered sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 425F. To start this melt butter in a 12-in. ovenproof frying pan over high heat on top of the stove. Add brown sugar and cinnamon, swirling to combine. Add apple and cook until just starting to soften, about 3 minutes.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile in a blender whirl together eggs, vanilla, salt, flour, and milk. Pour egg mixture into pan.

  • Step 3: Transfer to oven. Bake (425F) until puffed and brown, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
