Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound gnocchi (either homemade or pre-packaged)
  • 8 ounces sliced bacon (8 slices)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 6 1/2 ounces gorgonzola cheese (crumbled, 1 1/2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Chopped fresh chives
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut the bacon in small pieces and fry until crisp. Drain on paper towel

  • Step 2: Cook gnocchi in a large pot of boiling water until gnocchi are tender and rise to the surface, approximately 5 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon and place in warm serving dish.

  • Step 3: Add cream to medium size saucepan and over medium heat bring to a boil.

  • Step 4: Stir in gorganzola and wisk until melted.

  • Step 5: Spoon sauce over gnocchi and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, bacon and chives.

  • Step 6: Enjoy!
