Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 pounds bone-in skin-on chicken thighs (8 thighs)
  • 3 small chipotle peppers (in adobo sauce -- WARNING, SPICY!!! reduce if you’re a wimp lol)
  • 2 whole limes (juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves (finely minced)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (or buttermilk)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all ingredients together (not the chicken) in a bowl. Place chicken in plastic bags or small plastic container with a lid. Pour marinade over, mix around to cover completely, refrigerate for 8-24 hours.

  • Step 2: When your ready to grill, preheat grill to medium high for about 5-10 minutes. Begin grilling skin side down. Allow to cook for about 5 minutes per side, then flip (using tongs, never a fork!) cook for another 5 minutes, flip again and repeat once (bone in thighs should take 20-25 minutes on a BBQ at medium high heat.
