Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Coat 13 x 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray

  • Step 3: In a large bowl beat the peanut butter with honey, egg, oil and vanilla until blended.

  • Step 4: In another bowl combine the oats with brown sugar and salt; add to the peanut butter mixture and mix well (the batter will be sticky).

  • Step 5: Stir in the baking chips.

  • Step 6: Transfer to baking dish.

  • Step 7: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned.

  • Step 8: Cool on a wire rack, then cut into bars.
