Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a 12 cup muffin tin with paper liners.
Step 2: In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar.
Step 3: Add eggs, one at a time, and blend until fluffy.
Step 4: Mix in the milk and the almond extract.
Step 5: In a separate bowl, sift together the flours, baking powder and salt.
Step 6: Add the dry ingredients to the milk mixture, and blend until just combined.
Step 7: Fold in the strawberries and almonds.
Step 8: Fill the muffin cups to the top, and bake for 30 minutes.
