  • 1 cup all purpose flour, sifted
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease popover pan. Time and servings are for small popovers.

  • Step 2: Put all ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat util smooth, no longer.

  • Step 3: Pour into pan, filling each cup until 1/2 full. Bake 45 minutes or until well browned. Resist the temptation to open oven door during baking. Steam will escape and you won't get the highest rise from the popover.

  • Step 4: Serve immediately with butter and jelly.
