Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded monter jack cheese
  • 7 bacon strips, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1 pound jalapenos, halved lengthwise and seeds and ribs removed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together all ingredients except jalapenos. I leave out the salt depending on how salty the bacon is.

  • Step 2: Pack cheese mixture into jalapeno halves rounding the top.

  • Step 3: Place on baking sheet. Use parchment paper for easier clean up. Bake at 325 degrees, 20 minutes for hot. 30 minutes for medium. 40 minutes for mild. The peppers will loose hotness the longer they cook.
