Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 small chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 heads baby bok choy
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, fine shred
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 (100 gram) package ramen noodle soup, omit seasoning packet
  • Pinch red pepper flakes

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil ginger and garlic; add chicken and marinate for half an hour.

  • Step 2: Bring 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to high heat in a wok; add chicken mixture and cook until chicken is just cooked.

  • Step 3: Add bok choy, onion and bell pepper and stir-fry until tender but still crisp.

  • Step 4: Pour onto a plate and set aside.

  • Step 5: Bring 3/4 cup water and 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil to a boil in the wok.

  • Step 6: Add the noodles and cover until softened.

  • Step 7: Loosen the noodles and add the chicken mixture, hoisin sauce and red pepper flakes.

  • Step 8: Heat through and serve.
