Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussel sprouts
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, or margarine, melted)
  • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Wash and trim Brussel sprouts; cut an X on the stem of the sprouts (this helps them to cook faster).

  • Step 2: Steam or boil sprouts until tender; being careful not to over cook.

  • Step 3: Place sprouts in small casserole dish and sprinkle 2 tbsp of the melted butter over sprouts and mix to coat.

  • Step 4: Combine parmesan cheese, dry bread crumbs, garlic powder, black pepper, seasoning salt and remaining melted butter; sprinkle mixture over cooked sprouts.

  • Step 5: Heat sprouts under broiler until crumb mixture is lightly browned.
