Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup white cheese curds
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream, optional

How to Make

  • Step 1: Clean potatoes well and pat dry and cover with foil wrap.

  • Step 2: Bake in a preheated 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for 1 hour.

  • Step 3: In the last 10 minutes of bake time cook the butter and flour in a sauce pan for about 2 minutes.

  • Step 4: Add the broth and bay leaf and simmer until thickened.

  • Step 5: Remove the foil wrap and split the potato open.

  • Step 6: Remove and fluff some of the inside of the potatoes.

  • Step 7: Mix with cheese and re-stuff into the potatoes.

  • Step 8: Remove bay leaf from gravy and pour over potatoes.

  • Step 9: Top each potato with 1 tablespoon sour cream, if using.
