  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth or water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a deep skillet brown the ground beef. Add in onions about halfway through coo0king time, then add in garlic last few minutes of cooking. Add remaining ingredients; stir well to combine. Simmer over low heat for 45 minutes stirring often.

  • Step 2: Add in some water if it's to thick for your liking and continue cooking.
