The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (of choice, I like dry Italian herb)
  • Pinch garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (I use seasoning salt, Lawrys)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (or melted butter)
  • 3/4 to 1 cup milk (if the dough is dry using 3/4 cup then use more milk, the dough should be quite sticky)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine ingredients in a bowl. Using oiled hands pinch off and drop by heaping teaspoonfuls or scant tablespoonfuls on top of boiling stew or soup, the dough will be sticky. Cover tightly and steam for 12 minutes for small balls way more for large ones. these really puff up!
