The ingredients are:
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/8 cup reduced-fat, low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place chicken between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound with a meat mallet until 1/2-inch thick.

  • Step 2: Combine garlic, thyme, salt and pepper; rub over one side of each piece of chicken.

  • Step 3: Brown chicken in butter 8-10 minutes (until juices run clear), turning once.

  • Step 4: Remove chicken from pan and keep warm.

  • Step 5: Add broth to pan and heat 1 minute; remove from heat and stir in vinegar.

  • Step 6: Pour sauce over chicken and serve (or, just add chicken back into pan and turn a few times to coat).
