Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (6 ounce) can white or light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
  • 3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 small celery rib, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices white or whole wheat bread
  • Soft butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, combine the tuna, Swiss cheese, green onion and celery. In a small bowl combine sour cream and mayonnaise (if you like more creamier use more mayonnaise and sour cream); pour over tuna mixture and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: Divide the mixture over four slices of bread; top with remaining bread. Butter the outsides of sandwiches.

  • Step 3: On a large skillet over medium heat, toast sandwiches for 4-5 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
